The Restaurant Stallstube in Maur is in the 10th generation of the Bachofen family. In 2001, the old cow shed was converted into a restaurant. We have 85 restaurant seats, 100 terrace seats as well as 48 seats in the rustic Schopf next door. Additionally, we have space for approx. 150 people for various apéros at the Räbhüsli with a view of the Greifensee. The Restaurant Stallstube is located in a high-traffic location, which is very popular with leisure athletes and guests from near and far. We are also allowed to host many families and corporate events. Our cattle have access to the outdoors all year round and provide the basis for our popular burgers, Hacktätschli and various other dishes in the à la carte and banquet sector. From our own large high-stem orchard, we press fruit juice and offer our refreshing Süssmostcrème. We tend the vines of the Bianca and Regent varieties ourselves and also offer our own wine. From our own smokehouse in the farmhouse built in 1764, we offer self-smoked products: Bauernschüblige, bacon, salmon in winter
