Social Educator, 80% to 100%

For the Schulhaus Staudenbühl location in the Glattal school district, we are looking for a social educator, 80% to 100%, starting 01. August 2026 or by agreement

Tasks ##

• Social pedagogical support and promotion of students in kindergarten in the life-practical as well as in the school area
• Collaboration in the development of support plans
• Active application of ASS-specific aids as well as UK / Metacom
• Assistance and guidance in both the hygienic and social living areas of the children
• Interdisciplinary collaboration in the school and care team
• Accompaniment to individual and joint leisure activities and school events
• Reference person work
• Participation in meetings, school location discussions, in-school further education, etc.

Profile ##

• Training as a social pedagogue or comparable training
• Willingness to engage with students with special needs
• Motivated, open, resilient personality with a positive image of people
• Great flexibility as well as very good team and communication skills
• Independent working method as well as ability for networked thinking and acting
• Joy in dealing with people from different cultures

About us ##

The Heilpädagogische Schule der Stadt Zürich is a day special school for 4- to 15-year-old children with cognitive and/or multiple disabilities. We offer the students, who are taught in separate classes in various school houses in the city of Zürich, a supportive environment and focus on interdisciplinary promotion of their strengths. Our teams at the various locations in the city of Zürich consist of school heilpädagoginnen, social pedagoginnen, specialist care, learners, and assistants.
