WHAT YOU CAN MOVE ##

• Architecture & Strategy: You design sustainable and scalable data platform architectures (Cloud, Hybrid) and advise our clients on the optimal strategy - from the initial vision to final implementation (Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Cloud-DWH).
• Platform Construction & Migration: You lead complex transformation projects. Thanks to your experience in the On-Premises world, you plan and orchestrate the secure migration of legacy systems to modern Cloud data platforms.
• Data Modeling: You are the expert in data structuring. You design robust data models (e.g., Data Vault 2.0, Star-Schema) and thus create the solid foundation for AI use cases.
• Sales & Presales Enablement: You are the technical face of our Data domain externally. With the sales team, you intervene at clients, translate complex architectures into tangible business value for the C-Level, and enable our sales colleagues to better position Data projects.
• AI Competence: You use AI tools confidently in your work, evaluate results critically, and help clients and colleagues to fully exploit the potential of AI (e.g., via GenAI integrations in modern data platforms).
• Thought Leadership: In addition to your project activity, you contribute actively to our community as a speaker, author, and mentor.

HOW YOU SUCCEED ##

• Education: Degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics, or a comparable analytical/technical field.
• Architecture Expertise (On-Prem & Cloud): Long-standing practical experience in building data platforms. You know both the challenges of the old On-Premises world (e.g., classical relational databases & DWH, Hadoop) and modern Cloud ecosystems (Snowflake, Databricks, MS Fabric).
• Technology Stack (Snowflake & Databricks): You possess solid and proven practical knowledge of Snowflake and Databricks. You know their respective strengths and know exactly when which platform (or a combination) is architecturally most relevant.
• Modeling & Concepts: Deep methodological and practical expertise in data modeling (e.g., Data Vault 2.0, Kimball/Star-Schema, 3NF).
• Consulting & Communication: You know how to present complex technical topics in an understandable way at the management level (C-Level). You demonstrate empathy and patience to enthusiastically engage and empower even non-specialist colleagues (such as our sales staff) regarding your topics.
• Certifications: You possess relevant architecture certifications (e.g., for Snowflake and Databricks) or have the ambition to obtain them quickly with our support.
• Languages: Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English; French is an asset.
• Flexibility: You are willing to travel depending on projects and like working in agile teams.
