Our client is an established Swiss family business with an international environment and long-standing market presence, which develops and produces high-quality solutions for various industries. For the further expansion of the purchasing team, they are looking for a reliable personality who independently manages and actively develops operational procurement processes. Your tasks with the new employer:

• Planning and coordinating operational procurement as well as scheduling in an international supplier environment
• Monitoring timely material availability while considering economical inventory levels
• Processing and coordinating the ordering process including deadline tracking and invoice processing
• Maintaining and further developing existing supplier relationships
• Analysis and reporting of relevant purchasing KPIs as a basis for sound procurement decisions
• Internal coordination with production, logistics, and other interfaces
• Assisting in the further development and standardization of procurement and scheduling processes
• Participating in cross-departmental projects and organizational tasks of the purchasing management

You offer your new employer:

• A technical basic education, ideally supplemented by further training in purchasing or Supply Chain Management
• Several years of practical experience in operational purchasing in an industrial or manufacturing company
• Very good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel
• An independent and structured way of working with a strong solution orientation
• Confident and communicative appearance when in contact with suppliers and internal interfaces
• Very good German and good English skills
