Horizonte is a non-profit organization and is committed to the social and professional integration of people with mental impairments through various offerings in the living and working sectors.
The Café Horizonte offers people with mental impairments meaningful employment with a daily structure in the gastronomic and room maintenance sectors.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for starting 1 November 2026 or by arrangement a

Work Agogist as Group Leader Café, 80-90 % (w/m/d)

Your tasks, which you will perform together with your female team colleague

• Leadership, guidance, and promotion of employees taking into account agogic, professional, and operational specifications
• Design of a varied working everyday life as well as creation of a supportive, appreciative environment for employees and internal guests
• Co-responsibility for the needs-based and economical purchase of food, the ordering and inventory system
• Ensuring and compliance with applicable quality and hygiene standards
• Responsibility for the operational safety of the technical systems, compliance with the operational regulations as well as the applicable regulations
• Active contribution of ideas for the further development of the organization

Your profile

• Degree in work agogics, with specialization in mental impairment
• Experience in guiding people with mental impairments and different support needs
• Professional experience in the gastronomy sector
• A pronounced understanding of customers and service with high cost awareness
• Planning and organizational skills as well as independent, structured way of working
• Committed, empathetic, flexible, and team-oriented personality
• High sense of responsibility with reliable and solution-oriented action
• Confident user knowledge in MS Office
• You encounter people with a positive attitude toward life and enjoy guest care
