PR & Social Media Project Leader Swiss Market 100% (w/m)

JOB DESCRIPTION ##

• You develop and implement local PR, influencer, and social media activities that are aligned with the global communication strategy, thereby strengthening the visibility and cultural relevance of Swatch in Switzerland.
• You build strong relationships with journalists, media partners, influencers, and content creators and actively maintain them.
• You are the first point of contact for media inquiries in the Swiss market and coordinate interview requests, product loans, as well as all press activities.
• You recognize storytelling potential and ensure earned media around product launches, cooperations, events, and brand initiatives.
• You manage influencer partnerships from selection and briefing to implementation and success evaluation.
• You create, adapt, and coordinate engaging content for local social media channels in accordance with global brand guidelines.
• You plan and realize media events as well as influencer activations.
• You observe media, consumer, and social media trends and transform insights into communication opportunities.
• You work closely with internal stakeholders, external business partners, and international teams and ensure consistent and effective communication.
• You manage the assigned budget including business impact and ROI.

PROFILE ##

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in communication, marketing, or a comparable field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in PR or external communication, ideally in an agency and/or for consumer brands.

YOUR STRENGTHS ##

• Proven experience in the development and placement of stories in relevant leading media.
• Excellent network in the Swiss media and influencer landscape as well as enthusiasm for trends, storytelling, and brand building.
• Strong networking mindset and passion for authentic relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry partners. You represent the brand confidently, both online and offline.
• You feel comfortable in a very dynamic environment with many projects and short deadlines.
• You can manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate with different internal and external contact persons, and flexibly reset priorities if necessary. In doing so, you keep an eye on deadlines, quality, and budget and drive projects forward pragmatically.
• You work in a structured, reliable, and detail-oriented manner, are flexible, and a real team player.

LANGUAGES ##

German as a native language (preferably Swiss German) with excellent writing and communication skills. Fluent French skills as well as good English skills are required. Italian is an advantage.
