Chief Sacristan 80-100 % (m/f) Your missions: Global responsibility for the sacristy service, for the preparation of masses and religious celebrations. Direction, planning and coordination of the interventions of the sacristans and the cleaning staff of the entire Parish across several sites. Employee evaluations, job descriptions, staff development. Preparation and accompaniment of baptisms, weddings, funerals and particular liturgical events. Participation in parish festivals and events. Close collaboration with the Pastoral team, the administration and volunteers. Maintenance, upkeep and provision of liturgical material, liturgical clothing and church premises. Responsibility for the functioning, cleaning and maintenance of all churches, centers and administrative buildings. Qualifications: Completed training as a sacristan or willingness to follow the corresponding training. Professional diploma. Several years of professional experience, ideally with staff management responsibilities. Autonomy, reliability and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and a taste for teamwork. Flexibility regarding working hours, in particular weekends and religious public holidays. Good knowledge of German and French (mastery of Italian and Spanish is an asset). Adherence to the values and mission of the Catholic Church. Knowledge of the religious rites and ceremonies of the Roman Catholic Church. Knowledge in terms of building maintenance and management.
