Requirement profile:

• Technical basic training (precision mechanic, toolmaker, machining mechanic, polymechanic)
• Experience with Zeiss 3D coordinate measuring machines (Calypso) or comparable systems
• Very good knowledge in the interpretation of CAD data, reading technical drawings and form and positional tolerances (ISO GPS / GD & T)
• Knowledge of measurement standards and calibration standards, measurement uncertainty and validation of measurement processes
• Proficient knowledge of the Office suite and evaluation tools
• Completed AUKOM training
• Very good German skills

Tasks:

• Programming, setting up and calibrating the 3D Zeiss coordinate measuring machine
• Creating, adapting and optimizing measurement programs
• Carrying out initial sampling, series and special inspections
• Inspection of components and assemblies for dimensional accuracy, form and positional tolerances
• Analysis of measurement data as well as creation of measurement protocols and test reports
• Documentation of quality records in ERP and CAQ systems
• Support of production in quality-relevant topics
• Carrying out process capability analyses and optimization of testing methods
• Training of production employees on the 3D measuring machine
