Mandated by one of our clients, we are looking for:
Railway mechanic - training guaranteed 3x8
Professional experience in an industrial setting, in production, in logistics or in a demanding work environment
Very good physical condition indispensable to perform sustained activity and work regularly in the field
Accustomed to constraining positions involving wearing PPE, shift work and difficult environmental conditions
Locomotive driver's license appreciated, but not indispensable: the necessary training will be provided by the company
Rigor, vigilance, good stress management and ability to communicate clearly with teams
Driving and maneuvering locomotives for the movement, positioning and sorting of wagons on the internal railway network
Preparation of train sets: coupling and uncoupling, connection of air lines and checking the correct coupling of wagons
Providing and removing wagons on the loading and unloading tracks, as well as weighing or tarring according to needs
Performing routine checks on the locomotive, maintaining the logbook and reporting any anomaly
Cleaning, refueling and simple maintenance of the locomotive and railway equipment
Strict application of safety instructions and coordination of movements by radio with the teams present on site
