We offer these people professional support. We provide help in the acute phase. This includes psychiatric emergency care with careful diagnostics, appropriate treatment, and rapid clarification of the social situation. The goals of the treatment are the reconstruction of everyday skills, the development of possible coping strategies, and the stabilization of self-esteem. In accordance with the treatment focus, the ward offers various specific therapies and interventions (e.g., voice interviewing, IPT, etc.). As part of the Model Recovery, a peer employee is also an integral part of the treatment team. The ward is generally operated openly and implements the Safewards model.
