Mechanic (a)

To strengthen our team in Zofingen, we are looking for a committed and reliable personality as a Mechanic (a). In this role, you will ensure the safe and trouble-free operation of our machines and plants in the chemical production environment.

You will work in a versatile technical environment and, through your expertise, make an important contribution to operational safety, plant availability, and the continuous improvement of our production processes.

Your role

• Maintenance (servicing, upkeep, repair) of machines and plants in the chemical production environment (e.g., pumps, motors, valves)
• Support of purified water and cooling water systems
• Collaboration in the optimization of existing plants
• Error analysis and troubleshooting on mechanical and mechatronic systems in cooperation with plant operators and production
• General metalworking tasks such as turning, milling, and drilling (conventional)
• Careful documentation of the work performed
• Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (especially GMP)

Your profile

Technical knowledge

• Completed basic mechanical training EFZ (e.g., polymechanic, production mechanic, mechanic practitioner)
• Several years of professional experience as a mechanic in an industrial environment
• Experience in the maintenance of machines and plants is an advantage
• Good German skills in spoken and written form
• Readiness for on-call duty (no shift work)
