Area of responsibility

• Specialist medical care and treatment of outpatient and inpatient patients in General and Visceral Surgery
• Independent performance and assistance of elective as well as emergency procedures with a focus on modern, gentle and minimally invasive methods
• Collaboration in our broad range of services, including colorectal, Upper-GI, liver & biliary, hernia, endocrine, tumor and venous surgery as well as in robotic surgery
• Leading a surgical outpatient clinic as well as collaboration during rounds, continuing education and reports
• Participation in the further training and guidance of assistant physicians as well as medical students
• Participation in the surgical emergency and on-call service as well as in the further development of quality, processes and service offerings

Profile

• You possess the FMH specialist title in Surgery or are close to completing it. Alternatively, you bring a foreign title recognized as equivalent
• Broad clinical and operative experience in General and Visceral Surgery; in-depth knowledge in one sub-field of our service spectrum is an advantage
• Enjoyment of modern, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, interdisciplinary cooperation and medical continuing education
• Independent, careful and patient-oriented way of working as well as strong social competence and team spirit
• Excellent German language skills in speaking and writing
