An educator between 80 and 90%

L’Association de la Maison des Jeunes has set itself the mission to welcome, supervise, and accompany young people in their difficulties, so that they gain autonomy. The Foyer MDJ welcomes, in individual rooms, about twenty adolescent boys and girls, aged 15 to 18.

• You are… :

In possession of a HES social educator diploma or a title deemed equivalent (SEFRI recognition mandatory for foreign diplomas) and can justify several years of practice in a boarding school, with... Your experience, your calm, your dynamism are important assets. Due to our field of activity with minors, your criminal record must be clean. You hold a driver's license and have a vehicle.

• Working at Foyer MDJ as an educator is …
• Ensuring quality individual and collective educational follow-up, respecting the pedagogical program (role of reference and co-reference, oral and written reports on educational work, management of young people's budgets, …),
• Carrying out tasks included in the working time slot (general supervision, participation in meals, room visits, wake-ups, …)
• Organizing and participating in special group activities (camps, outings, etc…)
• Guaranteeing the rules and the state of cleanliness of the living space,
• Participating in colloquiums, supervisions, and various commissions,
• Participating in the development and stabilization of the service (participation in working groups, continuing education, etc…)
