Leadership personality with proven experience in disability services, entrepreneurial thinking, and strong creative power. The BSB (Bürgerspital Basel) is one of the largest social enterprises in the Basel area with around 1'600 employees. The Assisted Living department offers diverse living and support services for people with support needs. The focus is on self-determination, participation, and individually appropriate support. The offerings range from various forms of communal living to outpatient and increasingly flexible support settings. We are commissioned to approach an experienced and creatively strong leadership personality as Head of Assisted Living, effective immediately or by arrangement. You bear overall responsibility for the department with around 120 employees at 6 locations and lead eight management persons directly. Together with your management team, you ensure a high quality of services and further develop the department professionally, organizationally, and economically. In doing so, you combine the social mandate with professional corporate management and create framework conditions in which employees take responsibility and people with support needs can live as self-determined as possible. You actively participate in the strategic and operational further development of the Integration business field and commit yourself to cross-business field topics. This includes active networking and cooperation with authorities (disability assistance), cantons, associations, and specialist organizations. You possess a university degree in the social sector or a comparable qualification and bring several years of professional and leadership experience in disability services. You are familiar with the current developments in disability assistance as well as its financing and tariff structures. As a strong and appreciative leader, you communicate appropriately to the target group and know how to win employees over for common goals.
