Legal Counsel

The Service des contributions (SCCO) is looking for a Legal Counsel SCCO237 The SCCO, which has approximately 150 employees, brings together entities responsible for taxing and collecting various taxes. The legal entity of the service has the primary mission of providing legal support to all entities within the service. It also establishes observations within the framework of appeal procedures before the courts. It processes exemption and liability procedures. It drafts draft laws and regulations pertaining to cantonal tax legislation. Your missions As a legal counsel within the service des contributions, your main task consists of ensuring legal support in the processing of tax files (taxation, collection, tax remission, exemption, evasion) and during litigation procedures. You autonomously draft observations to the Tribunal cantonal and the Tribunal fédéral, as well as appeals to the Tribunal fédéral. You support your legal manager and the head of the service during the elaboration of draft laws, consultations, and legal reports. You participate in the development of internal directives and contribute to the training of the service personnel. On a daily basis, you maintain contact with taxpayers, representatives, as well as various tax authorities. Your profile Benefiting from a master's degree in law, you have at least three years of experience in an area of activity related to the function. You possess very good knowledge of taxation and notions of accounting. Your perfect command of French, both oral and written, and your keen sense of human relations are undeniable assets for the position. You know how to work autonomously, show initiative, and also possess great resistance to stress. Good knowledge of German would be an advantage.
