For our OT department in Pratteln/CH, we are looking for the earliest possible date for a

OT System Engineer*in, 100% (permanent)

Your tasks

• Responsibility for the operation and further development of the AVEVA PI solution
• Administration and further development of the Microsoft Windows Server environment incl. domain services (virtual and physical)
• Operation and administration of the HCI virtualization platforms (VMware and Proxmox)
• Planning and implementation of system, software and security updates (Microsoft and Linux)
• Planning and execution of firmware and OS upgrades
• Ensuring reliable backup and recovery management
• Maintenance and upkeep of the IT/OT infrastructure (hardware and software)
• Participation in as well as management of OT projects (project or sub-project management)

Your profile

• Technical training as a technician (HF, TS) or engineer (FH, HTL) in the field of IT/OT
• Experience in the administration of the products AVEVA PI DA, AF and PI VISION
• Several years of professional experience with Microsoft products and virtual platforms such as ESXi from VMWare or/and Proxmox VE, certifications an advantage
• Experience with scripting with PowerShell
• Confident appearance when using the CLI
• Confident handling of backup solutions (knowledge of VEEAM and Proxmox Backup an advantage)
• Knowledge in the area of network monitoring, e.g. with PRTG, an advantage
• Solution-oriented, communicative and team-oriented personality who likes to share and pass on their knowledge
• Structured way of working
• Good German and English skills
