It ensures the reliable electricity supply of an extensive alpine region and operates a demanding network infrastructure from the high- to the low-voltage level for this purpose. Own hydroelectric power plants and strongly regionally anchored energy production as well as innovative solutions in the areas of heat, photovoltaics, electromobility and intelligent energy systems characterize the company. For this entrepreneurially and technically significant key position, we are looking for a leadership-experienced and communicative personality who will lead the network area and, as a member of the Executive Board, actively help shape the future of the company. Your new task You are responsible for the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of the power grid from the substation to the house connection, as well as the control technology, the metering systems and the sovereign tasks. You lead four departments with a total of around 25 employees, further develop the network area and ensure a high-performance and future-proof organization. You develop the network strategy taking into account the energy transition, digitalization and decentralization and implement it with your team. You actively participate in significant future projects such as data centers, battery storage, alpine PVA and voltage changes. You coordinate and manage external partners who systematically support your area in fulfilling orders. You promote a positive corporate culture and, as a member of the Executive Board, actively help shape the strategy in the tension between security of supply, economic efficiency and sustainability. What distinguishes you An electrical or energy engineering education or a master craftsman certificate forms your professional foundation, which you have supplemented with business management competencies. You have gained your sound professional experience in the energy industry, for example at an EVU, a network company or an engineering or infrastructure company, ideally in a comparable position. You are used to leading larger teams clearly, approachably and in a solution-oriented manner, promote the personal responsibility of your employees and create a motivating working environment. You appreciate simple structures and feel at home in an SME environment. As a pragmatic and practical doer with good communication skills, you fit well into the company. You understand the connections of a modern EVU and, in addition to network topics, are also interested in economic, digital, regulatory and entrepreneurial issues.
