In the Department of Interventional Psychiatry, electroconvulsive therapies (ECT) are carried out under short anesthesia. The preparation and aftercare of ECT patients are performed in the recovery room. We also offer treatments with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) as well as treatments with Esketamine. Interventional Psychiatry is understood as treatment with electrical or electromagnetic methods; special pharmacological interventions can also be included. These methods represent a treatment alternative or supplement to psychotherapeutic and drug therapies.
