You lead complex development projects with technical depth and customer responsibility, from concept to acceptance. You plan in a structured manner, keep an eye on costs, deadlines, and quality, and lead your project team professionally through all phases. As a subsidiary of the Swedish Saab Group, we employ around 140 people in Switzerland. At two locations, we develop, produce, and distribute technologically demanding goods for the defense industry and the civilian sector. We are looking for a Project Manager Warhead Development 80-100% (m/f/d) at our location in Thun, immediately or by arrangement. Your tasks: In this role, you assume technical leadership of demanding development projects in our warhead development area. You work closely with internal interfaces such as design, scientific support, and production, and you are the technical contact person for customers and suppliers. Lead and be responsible for projects. You manage the product development projects assigned to you from the initial order to qualification and the achievement of series maturity. In addition, you lead internal projects for process improvement from the initialization stage. For your projects, you bear responsibility for costs, deadlines, results, and quality. In doing so, you lead your project team professionally, plan and coordinate the work packages, and keep an eye on progress. Besides this, you ensure the defined project scope and consistently control scope creep. Manage interfaces and make results visible. You plan and conduct project meetings with customers, and coordinate internally and with suppliers. To this end, you prepare reports, specifications, presentations, and project documents for internal and external use. For higher-level project management, you report to the Warhead Team Leader and the management.
