Schweizer Salinen ensures the salt supply of Switzerland on behalf of the cantons and the Principality of Liechtenstein. In doing so, Schweizer Salinen not only fulfills its supply mandate but also guarantees – especially in harsh winters – flawless mobility for the entire population.

Your Role

You ensure the reliable, safe, and economical operation of our buildings, infrastructure, and areas. You carry out smaller repair and maintenance work independently and, in the event of damage or malfunctions, you initiate suitable immediate measures.

As a central contact person on site, you coordinate and accompany external service providers and monitor quality, deadlines, and safety specifications. Through careful controls and complete documentation, you contribute significantly to the preservation of value of our infrastructure and to operational safety.

What you can achieve with us

• Execution of smaller repair, maintenance, and adjustment work on buildings and infrastructure
• Control and inspection of systems as well as conducting regular prevention rounds
• Initial assessment of damage and malfunctions as well as initiation of suitable immediate measures
• Organization, instruction, and supervision of external service providers and third-party companies on site
• Monitoring of quality, deadlines, scope of service, and safety specifications as well as acceptance of performed work
• Maintenance of traffic areas, parking lots, green spaces, lighting, and general site facilities
• Complete documentation of orders, maintenance, damage, and measures in the designated systems

Your qualities as a professional and as a person

• Completed technical or manual basic training, for example in electrical, sanitary, HLKS, metal construction, mechanics, or facility management
• Experience in technical building maintenance or Facility Management
• Further training in the field of Facility Management is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of building technology and occupational safety
• Good IT user skills and willingness to perform careful electronic documentation
• Independent and structured way of working, organizational talent, as well as a strong hands-on mentality
• High service orientation, communication skills, and sense of responsibility
