The municipality of Pieterlen, with its approximately 5-300 residents, is located at the foot of the Jura between Biel and Grenchen. The Pieterlen Social Services Department is municipal, polyvalent and includes statutory social assistance, the area of adult and child protection, preventive counseling, as well as alimony matters.

Administrative Clerk Social Services Department ##

Main tasks

• general secretarial work such as reception, telephone, mail service and accounting
• administrative tasks in connection with social assistance files (e.g. claiming child benefits, registrations/deregistrations AHV NE, tasks in connection with health insurance matters etc.)
• administrative tasks in connection with mandate files (e.g. filling out tax returns etc.)
• assistance in the areas of debt collection and family allowances

Requirements

• Commercial employee EFZ - applications from recent graduates are also very welcome
• knowledge in the field of social insurance and debt collection (advantageous)
• independence, resilience and reliability
• knowledge of the spoken French language
• high social competence, ability to work in a team and flexibility
