Senior Credit Officer

What you will drive:

• You carry out formal and substantive examinations of credit requests and support the client advisors in the granting of loans. In addition, you analyze credit applications regarding risks and opportunities as well as the structuring of requests in close cooperation with the front units and various specialist departments
• You make credit decisions within your own competence and prepare credit requests for higher competence holders
• You record annual financial statements of commercial customers and calculate ratings as well as debt capacities based on them
• You manage and monitor the credit portfolios regarding guidelines, requirements and documentation
• You perform a cross-disciplinary bridge-builder function and ensure a continuous dialogue with the parties involved
• You make an active contribution to process improvements and participate in projects

To succeed in this:

• You bring a completed banking apprenticeship (KV) or business administration studies (Uni, FH, HF) with further specialist training in the field of Banking & Finance
• Ideally, you have proven experience in the credit business and/or as a Credit Officer
• You have excellent analytical skills for grasping complex issues and developing structuring solutions
• You convince through a competent and winning appearance, good communication skills with high social competence as well as responsible action
• A high degree of independence, flexibility and team orientation characterize you
• You are a dedicated and resilient personality who likes to take initiative, thinks entrepreneurially and always remains curious
• Good knowledge of the Finnova banking system or the willingness to learn it quickly is an advantage.
