Your job behind the scenes

• Aircraft handling: You take over the loading and unloading of passenger and cargo aircraft.
• Safety at the plane: You secure arriving machines according to regulations with chocks and provide the ground markings.
• Technical support: You coordinate the docking and ensure the ground power and air supply at the aircraft.
• Equipment professional: You operate state-of-the-art handling equipment such as conveyor belts, passenger stairs and highloaders.
• Transport: With electric tugs, you transport baggage and cargo punctually across the apron directly to their destination.

Qualifications

What you bring with you (Your profile)

• Power & fitness: You are physically top fit, enduring and like to work outdoors in all weather.
• Ideal for studies & side job: Perfect for students, career changers or side jobbers who want to build something up financially on the side.
• Language skills: You speak fluent German (at least level B1, as it is absolutely relevant to safety on the apron).
• Mobility & driver's license: You mandatory possess a driver's license of category B as well as your own car (essential for shift starts in the early morning or late evening).
• Flexibility: Shift work (early and late shifts) also on weekends or public holidays is easily manageable for you.
• Reliability: Flawless criminal record extract (mandatory for the airport ID) as well as a valid Swiss work permit (B, C) or the Swiss passport.

• Attractive wage: CHF 27.70 gross / hour plus generous supplements for early, night, Sunday and public holiday work.
