ICT-System Specialist, 80-100% The Office for Informatics and Organization (AIO) is the competence center for digitization and technology in the canton of Solothurn. It implements IT projects, advises and supports the departments, and ensures the operation and maintenance of central IT and communication systems. For the Technical Services department, we are looking for an ICT-System Specialist, 80-100% immediately or by agreement at the Solothurn location. Your responsibility You actively contribute to the implementation and further development of our heterogeneous IT infrastructure and contribute to the success of our IT platforms with your expertise in system technology. You take responsibility for the basic infrastructure (storage systems and virtualization) including operation, lifecycle management, and automation. The development of system integration concepts, taking into account company requirements, security, and future viability, is also part of your tasks, as is their subsequent implementation in the team. In addition, you ensure the secure operation and monitoring of our servers and services. Your profile You have a degree as an IT specialist EFZ, ideally with further education (HF, FH), or have equivalent qualifications. Several years of practical experience in operating and managing storage infrastructures, preferably with NetApp, are mandatory. Additional experience in operating and administering virtualization environments rounds out your profile. You have several years of professional experience in system technology and in-depth knowledge of current technologies.
