For our Services & Finance Coordination team in the Finance Directorate, we are looking for a committed, responsible, and solution-oriented personality. In this versatile role, you will take on a central role at the interface between revenue management and the supervised clinics and support them with questions regarding service recording, documentation, invoicing, and cost assurance. The Universitätsspital Zürich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland. Our over 8'600 employees and around 700 trainees commit themselves daily to the well-being of our patients. ### Your main tasks Service recording and service controlling • You coordinate questions regarding service recording and documentation in the context of invoicing with the supervised clinics • You ensure complete, timely, and correct service recording as well as effective service controlling • You advise and train medical staff and nursing staff on questions of service recording and the associated processes • You analyze clinic-relevant questions and support the clinics in the definition and implementation of measures for result improvement Rjections and payers • You ensure efficient and traceable processing of rejections and inquiries regarding service recording • You clarify critical cases in connection with services and documentation with the guarantors or payers • You support the clinics with tariff-related and administrative questions in connection with invoicing Deposit and cost assurance • You manage the deposits and create as well as calculate cost estimates • You coordinate cooperation in inpatient disposition and cost assurance in the supervised clinics • In special cases, you coordinate closely with the social service, especially regarding questions about therapies, their financing, and ethical questions Consulting and cooperation with the clinics • You are the central contact person for the supervised clinics for administrative and service-related questions • You support the clinics with special questions and administrative bottlenecks • You work closely with various internal stakeholders and ensure a constructive information and knowledge transfer Process optimization and projects • You identify optimization potential in the processes surrounding service recording, documentation, and invoicing and participate in their implementation • You coordinate pilot trials within the framework of process, instruction, or responsibility adjustments by the revenue management • You lead projects or actively participate in projects Your profile • You have completed a commercial or (para-)medical basic training; further education at tertiary level is an advantage • You have sound knowledge of the outpatient and inpatient tariff systems of acute somatic service providers, especially TARDOC/TARMED and SwissDRG • You have sound knowledge of the Swiss social insurance system, especially KVG/KVV • You bring at least five years of professional experience at an acute somatic service provider in Switzerland • You have a strong understanding of the connections between service recording, documentation, invoicing, and revenue management • You work analytically, structured, exactly, and solution-oriented and have a high service orientation • You communicate confidently and appropriately to the target group with different professional groups and can convey complex questions understandably • You have proficient German and English skills in speaking and writing; other national languages are desirable • You are a committed, responsible, and resilient personality with enjoyment in a versatile interface function Our benefits • A responsible and varied activity at an important interface between revenue management and the clinics • A versatile area of responsibility with direct influence on the quality and further development of the service processes • The opportunity to actively shape processes, recognize optimization potential, and contribute your own ideas • A dynamic and highly professional environment with interdisciplinary cooperation • Modern working conditions as well as attractive further education and development opportunities • A motivated team that values quality, cooperation, and a solution-oriented way of working We look forward to your application Claudine Schweizer Recruiting About the USZ Das Universitätsspital Zürich ist eines der grössten Spitäler in der Schweiz.
