Nurse Maternity Postpartum Zürich

As a Dipl. Pflegefachfrau or Dipl. Pflegefachmann HF/FH, you will take on a responsible role in the care of mothers and newborns in the postpartum area of a modern acute hospital in the Zürich region. With a workload of 80 to 100 %, you will accompany families in the first days after birth, support breastfeeding and newborn care, and work closely with an interprofessional team.

What awaits you in this responsible task

• Holistic care of mothers and newborns in the postpartum period
• Counseling and support of families regarding the care and nutrition of the newborn
• Support with breastfeeding as well as counseling on breastfeeding questions or problems
• Implementation of nursing care according to the nursing process in cooperation with doctors and midwives
• Implementation of medical prescriptions as well as participation in diagnostic and therapeutic measures
• Accompanying students, trainees, and new employees in everyday nursing

What you bring with you

• Completed training as Pflegefachfrau or Pflegefachmann HF/FH or equivalent training such as Bachelor of Science in Nursing, examinierte Pflegefachkraft, Gesundheits- und Krankenpflegerin or Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger, DGKP
• Initial professional experience in an acute hospital, ideally in the area of postpartum or gynecology
• Joy in accompanying families in a special phase of life
• Good German skills in speaking and writing
