Tasks ###

Your basic training lasts two years; during this time you will receive your full salary. In the first year, you will learn everything essential for your new profession at the Zürcher Polizeischule ZHPS. In the second year, you will work at the Flughafenpolizei and already take on security-relevant tasks. After two years, you will complete the professional examination for the federal certificate «Polizist/in»; if you have successfully mastered this hurdle as well, you will be formally sworn in and admitted to our police corps.

Requirements ###

• Swiss citizenship
• compulsory school education according to the respective cantonal guidelines
• recognized vocational qualification (EFZ), equivalent training, or Matura
• impeccable reputation
• Age: at least 20 and at most 39 years old (until the 40th birthday) upon receipt of application
• Minimum height: none
• Visual acuity: unrestricted field of vision, color perception ability
• Driver's license: Category B
• Military/Civil Protection/Civil Service/Unfitness for service
