Job Summary Acquires professional skills to solve routine tasks requiring limited judgment. The focus is on routine tasks, using limited judgment of standard operating procedures. Supports the team as a whole. Responsibilities Facilities / infrastructure maintenance • * Performs basic on-site preventive maintenance checks on non-critical facility components • * Performs basic repairs and maintenance on non-critical facility components • * Monitors the Building Management System (BMS) following standard operating procedures; works under close supervision to respond to basic alarms • * Normally receives detailed instructions for all work; works under close supervision • Vendor support • Coordinates with vendors according to standard operating procedures Site administration & incident support • Supports basic site logs for permits, such as: maintenance operating protocols (MOPs) and scripts Work orders & additional projects • * Completes basic routine work order requests under supervision. • * Assists in routine incident management requests • Collaboration • * Provides assistance to departments during routine maintenance activities • * Provides basic assistance to more experienced personnel on infrastructure projects; may follow projects for learning purposes • Qualifications • Generally requires a high school diploma and one year of proven equivalent professional experience Equinix is committed to ensuring that our hiring process is open to all people, including those with disabilities.
