Specialist Demand & Supply Planner At L+S, you will take on a key role between sales, production and procurement. With forward-looking demand and supply planning, you will ensure the availability of our products and reduce waste and food waste. What you will do You will create short-, medium- and long-term sales forecasts and ensure a reliable demand plan. You will consider relevant factors such as actions, seasonal fluctuations, weather influences, as well as changes in assortment and innovations. You will control the stocks of finished products in a forward-looking manner and in accordance with the FIFO/FEFO rotation rules. You will identify bottlenecks and overstock risks at an early stage and actively contribute to minimizing waste and food waste. You will coordinate daily with production plants, suppliers, sales and marketing to react flexibly to changes in demand or production deviations. You will support and co-moderate the S&OP process and bring the interests of sales and production together into an effective plan. You will monitor relevant KPIs such as forecast accuracy and bias, service level, range, write-offs and adherence to the production plan and derive measures from them. What you bring Education: Bachelor's degree (university, university of applied sciences) Field of study: or a Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a comparable education, e.g. in the food industry. Professional experience: 3 to 5 years of professional experience in demand or supply planning, ideally in the food industry, in the FMCG environment or in retail. Very good knowledge of an ERP/supply chain system such as SAP PP/MM/APO or SAP IBP. Excellent Excel skills, especially in handling pivot tables, Power Query and ideally macros. A deep understanding of the requirements of fast-moving consumer goods, just-in-time processes and fresh logistics. An analytical, precise and structured way of thinking as well as a pleasure in working with large amounts of data and many items.
