The work of FAIRMED begins where the roads end. We enable the poorest people in Asia and Africa to access basic medical care. For our office in Bern, we are looking for a: Specialist Face-to-Face-Fundraising 40-50% (limited until , with prospect of permanent employment) as of 01. September 2026 or by agreement. Your task: As a Specialist Face-to-Face-Fundraising, you will seek out conversations with potential donors on the street, at the door, and on the phone, and inspire them for our projects. You will complement our fundraising team with your passion for communication and implement campaigns to acquire new donors in a team of two. You will conduct conversations, plan and coordinate campaign days, obtain permits for implementation, and develop conversation guides. In close collaboration with the fundraising team, you will strategically develop the dialogue campaigns and coordinate them with our other fundraising activities. Initial situation: FAIRMED has been conducting dialogue campaigns in the areas of Face-to-Face, Door-to-Door, and Telemarketing for many years. For the implementation, we have so far worked with various agencies. In the future, we would like to take the step of carrying out these campaigns ourselves and with our own staff. We hope to have a more tangible, authentic dialogue through our closer proximity to our work and projects. The area of dialogue campaigns is still under construction, which is why the position is initially limited until 31. December 2027. If the area develops as desired, there is a long-term possibility of a permanent employment with up to 80% of the working hours. Your profile: Communication is your strength, you like to approach people and dare to address unknown persons on our topics. You are confident in your appearance and are not discouraged by difficult conversations. You have several years of experience in direct dialogue, telemarketing, fundraising, or related fields such as customer service, sales, or field service. You are familiar with the use of tablets, payment terminals, Microsoft Office, and databases, or they do not pose an obstacle for you after appropriate introduction. You like to work independently and appreciate having a lot of freedom in designing your working day and being able to build something new. Depending on the campaign phase, you are willing to travel within Switzerland and, if necessary, stay overnight in a hotel in case of long travel times. You speak dialect.
