Social Worker Transitional Housing / Case Management (30-50%)

Since 1984, Frauenhaus Winterthur has offered protection, emergency accommodation, counseling, and support to women affected by violence, with or without children. We are a recognized inpatient crisis intervention center with a committed and intercultural team.

To expand our semi-supported transitional housing offers for women and children following their stay at the Frauenhaus, we are looking for reinforcement in the function of Case Management (30-50%).

Social Worker Transitional Housing / Case Management (30-50%) ##

Start immediately or by arrangement, with the possibility to increase the workload

You accompany women and children after their stay at the Frauenhaus on their way towards an independent and violence-free life situation.

Your tasks

• You take over case management and accompany women and children individually
• You provide support with questions regarding safety, housing, finances, law, family, and everyday life
• You plan the next steps and follow-up solutions together with the clients
• You coordinate cooperation with authorities and specialist agencies
• You document the case work and contribute your experience to the further development of the offer

What you bring

• Bachelor in Social Work
• Experience in counseling, accompaniment, and case management of women in stressful life situations
• Knowledge in the field of domestic violence, victim support, and/or migration is an advantage
• Knowledge and/or further training in Case Management is an advantage
• Intercultural sensitivity and strong social competence
• Independent, responsible, and team-oriented way of working

In parallel, we are looking for a Project Manager Transitional Housing (40%). With appropriate qualifications, both functions can be combined into a workload of up to 80%.
