For our client, an established industrial company in the field of packaging manufacturing in the St. Gallen region, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic (m/f/d) 100% per immediately or by arrangement Tasks In this versatile role, you are responsible for fault analysis, performing repairs, as well as the planned maintenance of paper machines and infrastructure systems. You carry out preventive maintenance work and thus ensure smooth production operations. You contribute your expertise during new installations and the commissioning of machines and production plants and actively support the team. As part of planned revisions, you take over the leadership of assembly groups and ensure a structured implementation of the work. The consistent compliance with safety and quality standards is a matter of course for you. Additionally, you possess the willingness to perform regular on-call duty to guarantee the availability of production. Requirements You have completed mechanical vocational training; further training as a maintenance specialist is an advantage. Experience in a manufacturing industrial environment with machine technology and automated systems ideally completes your profile. You work in a structured and solution-oriented manner, maintain an overview even in hectic situations, and value teamwork. A strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness distinguishes you as much as good German skills in speaking and writing. Basic knowledge of MS Office is an advantage.
