OT Network Security Engineer (all)

Your tasks

• You lead and realize demanding projects related to telecommunications, networks, and security and accompany them from planning to successful implementation
• You independently plan, implement, and commission network, backbone, and security solutions
• You ensure the reliable operation of our telecommunications and network infrastructure and take care of maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• You always keep an eye on network security in the areas of backbone, network management, and remote access and continuously develop these
• You maintain and document our backbone, network, and customer connections as well as the network management systems used
• In the ISMS, you represent the telecommunications and IT/OT networks specialist department and actively participate in the implementation of the ICT minimum standard
• With your commitment in the fault, on-call, and availability service, you make an important contribution to secure and reliable network and telecommunications operation

Your profile

• Your educational backpack is filled with a completed vocational training EFZ in the field of informatics, telematics, or electrical engineering
• Ideally, you have a degree from a Higher Technical College (HF) or University of Applied Sciences (FH) in informatics, systems engineering, telecommunications, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
• You bring several years of professional experience in network and communication technology and feel at home in complex technical infrastructures
• You are very familiar with Cisco network technologies and ideally have a corresponding certification, such as CCNA. You are also proficient in handling firewall systems
• You also bring experience with network management systems (NMS) as well as knowledge in cyber security and IT/OT security
• You are familiar with the ICT minimum standard and enjoy implementing security requirements in practice
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills for technical documentation, support cases, and exchange with manufacturers round off your profile
