In the heart of the city of Geneva, in an 18th-century building located in a green park, La Ferme de Budé enjoys an excellent reputation thanks to the work of the team, which strives every day to offer the best products. The store's purchasing policy consists of selecting a range of products as wide as possible, with high-quality and ethical criteria. In addition to the vegetables grown in the garden, you will find fruits and vegetables from the region, cheeses from the Pays d'En-Haut, Geneva meat, fish from Lake Geneva, artisanal grocery products, etc. Priority to local, priority to organic, this is the motto of La Ferme de Budé. About a thousand customers per week come to shop and can find organic and local products supplied by producers with whom we have privileged relationships. The team currently has about fifteen collaborators working in different sectors. Since 2018, the team has implemented a company management based on participative governance principles. CO-RESPONSIBLE DE RAYON & LOGISTICIEN/NE Fruits & Vegetables Sector We are looking for... ### A co-responsible for the Fruits & Vegetables (FL) sector / logistician Entry into function: as soon as possible. Activity rate: 70-80%. Based on an activity rate of around 30-32 hours per week on average over the year, the schedules as well as the course of activities defined for a typical week may vary during the mission. It is also possible that certain tasks, such as participation in meetings, take place at different times than usual hours. You must also be prepared to take service sometimes from 6 am or until 7:30 pm, and to work certain Saturdays. Salary: CHF 3,034.50 gross per month at 70%. Required conditions • Technical training (CFC or equivalent) and professional experience (minimum 2 years) in sales • Driver's license • Excellent physical condition (carrying heavy loads and working in the cold in winter) • Motivation to participate in the general life of the company and its horizontal management • Forklift license, an advantage • Work permit, an advantage • Main residence within 30 minutes of La Ferme, an advantage Role & tasks The future co-responsible for the sector will work in a team with the current co-responsible and the salespeople in the Fruits & Vegetables sector. He/she must be very rigorous and organized in his/her administrative management and have a sense of community work to manage his/her team and communicate effectively with the fifteen collaborators of the company. His/her position being largely composed of market sales hours, he/she must have developed and consolidated a certain interest in customer contact. He/she will have to show flexibility in his/her tasks and schedules in order to best meet the needs of the company. He/she will also have to know how to drive a van. Main activities Logistics & sales : \- Loading and unloading of goods arrivals, verification of delivery notes \- Storage and organization of fruit and vegetable stocks \- Purchases of fruits and vegetables at the wholesale market; withdrawal of goods from other establishments \- Management of consignments, waste, and other bulky items \- Market sales, customer advice, and cash handling \- Installation and closure of the market; cash register closure at the end of the day \- Ensuring the good supply of the market and the quality of service/products \- Maintenance and management of the company van's schedule Co-responsible for the sector \- Management of supplier orders \- Verification of invoices, margins, and optimization of market sales prices \- Research of new products, link with suppliers \- Team management: vacations/absences, training, communication of information \- Preparation and holding of the sector meeting \- Reading emails, meeting minutes, memos...
