What you can achieve As a member of the Rotor area at the GE Vernova production site in Birr, you will, as a CNC Operator Copper Processing in a 2-shift operation, actively contribute to supporting the department in production and demonstrate your own initiative. Job Description Your tasks: • Set up and operate the Wipro machine (Siemens 840c control) in manual and automatic operation to process copper conductors for generators • Prepare and manage all operating resources • Monitor the system and rectify malfunctions – also in cooperation with the maintenance department and the equipment suppliers • Document production figures in a journal to evaluate Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) • Independently perform quality controls using measurement data analysis and visual inspection, as well as record and confirm quality checks through feedback in SAP • Perform maintenance work on the system • Support new developments, process improvements, and system optimization • Maintain and monitor the tool inventory What you should bring (basic qualifications): • Training as a polymechanic or comparable training • Several years of relevant professional experience • Good knowledge of CNC machining • Good knowledge in reading technical drawings and documents • Good German skills in speaking and writing • PC skills What distinguishes you?: • Teamwork, discipline, flexibility for additional assignments • Careful, quality-conscious, and exact way of working • Quick comprehension What we offer you Employees at GE Vernova take on the challenge of contributing to the creation of a world that is doing well.
