As a Veterinary Practice Assistant (Tiermedizinische Praxisassistentin or Tiermedizinischer Praxisassistent EFZ), you will work in a modern small animal practice in Langenthal AG with a workload of 80 to 100 % and take on a central role in daily practice operations. You care for pet owners with empathy, support the veterinary team during treatments, and ensure that both humans and animals feel equally well cared for.

What to expect in this varied task

• Reception and care of pet owners in daily practice operations
• Assistance during consultations as well as support during minor surgical procedures
• Performance of laboratory work and preparation of diagnostic examinations
• Organization of practice workflows as well as support with administrative tasks
• Participation in the supervision and support of apprentices in practice operations

What you bring with you

• Completed training as a Veterinary Practice Assistant (Tiermedizinische Praxisassistentin or Tiermedizinischer Praxisassistent EFZ)
• Ideally initial professional experience in a veterinary practice
• Friendly and service-oriented demeanor towards pet owners
• Structured and reliable way of working
