Job description
Assistant Educator KiTa & After-school care (floater function) 60-80 % Work location: Volketswil Start date: 1. August 2026 About us The KiTa Mondolino GmbH is a family-like and modern childcare facility in Volketswil. Our facility includes a daycare center with 12 childcare places for preschool-age children as well as an after-school care center with 19 childcare places for kindergarten and school children. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed, responsible, and flexible personality who can be deployed in both the KiTa and the after-school care. Your tasks

Care, support, and promotion of children from the age of three months until starting school, as well as kindergarten and school children.
Co-shaping a varied, development-promoting, and appreciative daily childcare routine.
Planning, implementation, and reflection of pedagogical offers and activities.
Support of the group leaders in everyday pedagogical life.
Flexible assignments as a floater in the KiTa and in the after-school care.
Promotion of independence, social competence, and individual development of the children.
Accompanying the children during meals, excursions, walks, and leisure activities.
Collaboration in domestic activities and ensuring order and hygiene.
Professional cooperation with parents, employees, and management.
Participation in projects, festivals, and other events.
Your profile

Completed training as Fachfrau/Fachmann Betreuung EFZ, specialization children, or an equivalent training recognized in Switzerland.
Professional experience in the field of family-supplementary childcare is an advantage.
Joy in working with children of different age groups.
High social competence, teamwork skills, and flexibility.
Independent, structured, and responsible way of working.
Resilient, reliable, and committed personality.
Very good German skills in speaking and writing.
Readiness to be deployed flexibly in both the KiTa and the after-school care.
