The third largest psychiatric clinic in the canton of Bern is open to patients from all over Switzerland and abroad and is responsible for inpatient psychiatric basic care in the eastern Bernese Oberland. Nursing and care are provided according to the current medical-psychiatric and nursing knowledge. The Meiringen Private Clinic, as a member of the "Swiss Leading Hospitals", is one of the leading private clinics in Switzerland. At the psychiatric-psychotherapeutic centre for young adults in Thun (PZJE), we treat young adults aged 16 to 25 with disorders from the entire spectrum of psychiatry with comprehensive psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment. The centre comprises 30 inpatient beds, has a 24-hour emergency admission obligation and is primarily run as an open ward and, if necessary, on a protected ward. Treatment is carried out according to the latest evidence-based medical, therapeutic and nursing knowledge.
