• Lead tax policy matters and accompany them in parliamentary committees and councils
• Proactively advise the ESTV directorate, the EFD departmental management, the Federal Council and the Parliament on tax policy issues
• Create analytical-conceptual foundations for national tax policy
• Participate in working groups, at events as well as in science and teaching

What makes you unique

• University degree, ideally in law or economics
• Several years of professional experience in the tax field, preferably value added tax as well as project management experience
• Conceptual and analytical skills
• Ability to describe complex issues understandably
• Good knowledge of a second official language as well as passive knowledge of a third official language

The Federal Tax Administration (ESTV) is the federal competence center for tax matters. Thanks to value added tax, direct federal tax, withholding tax as well as stamp duties, it is responsible for the largest part of federal revenue.
