As one of the largest Inselkliniken, the University Clinic and Polyclinic for General Internal Medicine ensures the university inpatient and outpatient general internal medicine care of the Bern region. In addition to interdisciplinary and interprofessional patient care, the clinic is strongly involved in further education, clinical research and university teaching and has many contacts nationally as well as internationally. The directorate secretariat is the operational "motor" of the clinic, which not only coordinates and supports the diverse activities of the Clinic Director, but also performs vital tasks in the clinic organization.

What to expect ##

• Management of the directorate secretariat
• Coordination, planning (incl. appointments) and organization of the various activities of the Clinic Director in clinic, research, teaching and further/continuing education
• Management of the internal clinic medical secretariats
• Important interface function to the hospital-internal and university administration
• Personnel and financial tasks (Insel Gruppe and Universität Bern)
• Organization of internal and external events
• Deployment planning (rounds, duties, further education) of the senior physicians
• Performance recording of inpatient and outpatient "private" patients

What you bring with you ##

• Commercial training EFZ or comparable basic training
• Further training as a director's assistant is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Confident appearance, high initiative and flexibility
• Communication, leadership and organizational talent
• Great reliability and discretion
• Very good IT knowledge of the MS Office suite
• Stylish German and good knowledge of French and English
• Professional experience in a similar position in the healthcare sector is an advantage
