Quereinsteiger:in Rangiermitarbeiter:in 100% Activity: • You carry out shunting movements by shifting, forming and dismantling individual railcars and freight trains • Coupling and uncoupling locomotives and freight cars, as well as carrying out brake tests, are part of your daily tasks • You prepare freight trains for their journey and secure parked vehicles in the track area. Requirements • Willingness to work shifts (24/7 – including weekends and nights) and high flexibility • Physically and mentally resilient • Age range 20 - 45 years • Preference for working outdoors in all four seasons / comfortable working in wind and weather (weather-resistant) • German language skills B1 (understanding Swiss German orally = mandatory requirement) e.g. for using the radio • High level of safety awareness • Ideally, experience in the manual or logistical field • Digital affinity, no problem handling modern work tools (e.g. using a tablet) • Perfect color vision (no red/green weakness) and impeccable reputation Documents and Clarifications • Extract from the criminal record and debt collection register, not older than 3 months • Medical fitness examinations according to the requirements of BAV (Bundesamt für Verkehr)
