What you can achieve

• Independent administration, modification and configuration of network components, connected complex air traffic control communication systems, firewalls, storage systems
• Troubleshooting and regular maintenance of military air traffic control systems at various locations in Switzerland
• Installation and commissioning of system modifications and expansions (Change Management)
• Planning and implementation of preventive maintenance to ensure system and service availability
• Participation in projects during system installations and integrations
• Creating and updating system documentation and training materials for internal and external purposes
• Further training in the field of responsibility, general IT and military technology

What you bring with you

• Degree in computer science, ideally with ICT-specific further training (FH level)
• At least 5+ years of experience in the field of networks, at least Cisco CCNA level or equivalent knowledge in routing and switching, network technology
• Firewall and security knowledge with practical experience in configuration and commissioning
• CCSA or CCSE certification is an advantage
• Practical experience with the product families of Cisco and Check Point Maestro
• Knowledge of storage systems and experience with virtualization is an advantage
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with initiative and assertiveness
• Communicative, committed and reliable team player with strong service and customer orientation
• Very good German skills, good English skills (B2); French skills are an advantage
• Willingness for on-call service, standby duty and irregular working hours if required (Driving license B necessary)

In the area of FLORAKO KOMSYS as well as SIGINT IT, SCGCEC is the reliable partner and ensures with specialists in lifecycle management the maintenance, modernization and operational capability for introduced and future systems throughout the entire lifecycle. Furthermore, in the same area of responsibility, sub-project management as well as technical cooperation in projects are carried out.
