Metrohm Schweiz AG, based in Zofingen, is a subsidiary of Metrohm AG, headquartered in Herisau. Metrohm is a leading company in instrumental chemical analysis.

To strengthen our sales organization in the Basel/North region, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, one: Sales Consultant

Basel/North Region Chemist FH or Chemical Laboratory Technician

Your tasks:

• You will take responsibility for existing customer relationships in the Basel/North region, develop them in a targeted manner, and actively identify new business opportunities in a versatile, innovation-driven market.
• As a competent contact person, you will advise customers from industry, research, and other analytical application areas, understand their challenges, and develop suitable solutions together with internal specialist experts.
• You will accompany demanding sales and customer projects from the initial needs analysis through solution development and quotation creation to successful implementation. In the strategically oriented Basel/North team, you will actively participate in territory planning, the prioritization of market opportunities, and long-term business development. In addition, you will represent Metrohm at specialist events, seminars, and trade fairs.

Your profile:

• You have completed training as a Chemist FH, Chemical Laboratory Technician, or a comparable scientific-technical qualification and bring practical experience in chemical analysis.
• Experience in technical sales, customer consulting, or project business is an advantage.
• You are enthusiastic about personal customer contact, recognize technical and economic contexts, and enjoy developing sustainable solutions and new business opportunities.
• You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills.
• You work independently, in a structured and proactive manner, bring team spirit as well as negotiation skills, and want to actively help shape the development of a significant sales region.
