Your tasks ##

The Hard STEP makes a central contribution to water protection in the Winterthur region. Over the next 15 years, the STEP will be developed for decades to come. As an operations assistant, you will provide important services in the daily operation and development of the Hard STEP. In your new position, you are responsible for the following tasks:

• Daily operation project work: development and implementation of optimization projects as well as procedural support and coordination during major projects; support for the strategic orientation of the wastewater treatment plant.
• Major projects project work: procedural support for project management and participation in procedural planning committees.
• Procedural support and development: development of plant automation, data systems and analysis tools as well as implementation of extraordinary measurement campaigns. Writing and reviewing functional descriptions.
• Analysis of operational data: regular analysis and evaluation of operational data with a variable focus as well as year-end analysis and continuous improvement process (CIP) in collaboration with the department management.
• Quality management (QMS): documentation and standardization of procedural and administrative processes with a focus on automation and process technology.

Your profile ##

• You possess a HES level diploma in the field of mechanics, energy, electrotechnics, process technology or construction. Alternatively, you have undergone in-depth training in project management after your training as a wastewater treatment specialist with a federal certificate.
• You have a flair for analytical work and computer applications.
• You know how to communicate and document your results in an appropriately leveled manner.
