At Hôpital de Lavaux, our human-sized medical team consists, among others, of six assistant doctors who cover mandates from six months to one year. Aware of and committed to our role in the basic training of the caregivers of tomorrow, we also actively collaborate with the nursing schools of the region and welcome about twenty nursing students per year, as well as APS, ASSC, Occupational Therapists and Red Cross interns.

About the offer

An expansion project is planned for 2027, with the move of services into new premises currently under construction on the hospital site.

Within our EMS Le Pavillon, we support residents with professionalism, kindness and respect for their dignity. Our multidisciplinary team works daily to offer personalized support promoting quality of life, autonomy and the well-being of each person.

Mission

• Ensure basic care and contribute to the comfort and well-being of residents, respecting their needs, their lifestyle and their autonomy.
• Accompany residents in daily life activities, notably during hygiene care, dressing, eating and movement.
• Promote the maintenance of autonomy and the capacities of residents, taking into account their rhythm and their habits.
• Observe the general state of residents and transmit relevant information to the nursing team.
• Collaborate with all the professionals involved in the accompaniment of residents and contribute to the continuity and quality of care.
• Contribute to a safe and adapted environment, as well as to compliance with hygiene and safety procedures and rules.

Profile sought

Technical skills

• CRS health care assistant certificate or a title deemed equivalent and recognized in Switzerland.
• Professional experience in geriatrics, psychogeriatrics or in an EMS is an asset.
• Ease in using usual IT tools (mastery of Carefolio, an asset).

Human skills

• Strong interest in the care of residents in their place of residence.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills with residents, their relatives and the teams.
• Ability to work independently, with critical thinking and a sense of responsibility.
• Ability to understand the resident's situation in its entirety and to contribute actively to interprofessional work.
