• 13 July 2026 • 100% • Indefinite duration • Dierikon Your responsibilities • Develop and implement comprehensive global category strategies in alignment with business needs and long-term objectives. • Lead negotiation and management of global contracts and pricing agreements to ensure competitive advantages and sustainable supplier relationships. • Conduct in-depth procurement market analyses to identify new suppliers, savings opportunities, and global synergies. • Collaborate with local procurement teams and engineering to co-create and align category strategies, ensuring local consistency and adaptability. • Manage and develop strategic relationships with suppliers on a global scale, fostering innovation, performance, and continuous improvement. • Identify and exploit synergies between production sites and business units to optimize procurement strategies and purchasing efficiency. • Serve as a central escalation point for critical supply issues (e.g., obsolescence), providing structured solutions based on best practices. • Ensure effective alignment between global procurement strategy and local execution, acting as a key interface, change agent, and operational support as needed. • Promote compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including ESG standards and the Code of Conduct, while proactively managing supply chain risks in assigned categories. Your profile • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, engineering, supply chain management, or a related discipline. • Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic procurement, category management, or global sourcing within an international industrial environment. • Proven experience in developing and implementing global category strategies that generate sustainable savings, supplier performance improvements, and risk mitigation. • Solid sourcing experience in direct material categories such as sheet metal parts, CNC machined components, mechanical assemblies, electromechanical parts, or comparable manufactured products. • Experience in supplier selection, supplier development, global sourcing projects, and international negotiations with suppliers. • Experience in industrial transfer projects, including the relocation of machines, assemblies, modules, or production lines between suppliers and manufacturing sites. • Good understanding of supply planning, forecasting, inventory management, and S&OP processes. • Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to identify savings opportunities via TCO assessments, cost analyses, and value engineering initiatives. • Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decisions within Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain departments. • Demonstrated ability to manage supplier escalations, supply risks, obsolescence challenges, and business continuity initiatives in a structured and solution-oriented manner. • Solid skills in negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management. • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-oriented personality with a hands-on approach and a continuous improvement mindset. • Excellent communication, intercultural, and collaboration skills, combined with a high level of resilience and self-management in a dynamic global environment. • Good understanding of ESG requirements, responsible sourcing principles, and supply chain compliance frameworks. • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Office, and Power BI or comparable data analysis tools. • Proficiency in English (C1 or higher); knowledge of other languages such as German is an asset. • Availability for international travel (approximately 20 to 30%).
