The Fondation Vieillesse in Herisau is the home of more than 250 elderly people. Across the three sites Heinrichsbad, Ebnet and Dreilinden, approximately 260 employees contribute daily in our houses. Your demanding and varied tasks:

• You accompany and support people suffering from dementia in an individual and resource-oriented manner, thus contributing to their quality of life and autonomy.
• You implement care measures with competence, regularly assume daily responsibility and ensure careful documentation of the care process.
• You bring your professional expertise in the field of dementia to complex care situations and strengthen the teams in the professional management of dementia-related behaviors and challenges.
• You are responsible for professional development in the field of dementia, develop concepts and standards and promote the transfer of current knowledge into practice.
• You work in the morning and evening shifts until 9:15 pm and promote professional interdisciplinary collaboration.

Our requirements:

• You have completed training as a registered nurse HF/FH or an equivalent training recognized in Switzerland.
• Ideally, you have completed continuing education in the field of dementia (e.g. CAS / DAS) and possess proven experience in long-term care with an emphasis on dementia.
• You enjoy taking on responsibilities, work autonomously and maintain an overview even in complex situations.
• You enjoy working interdisciplinarily, transmit your practical knowledge and communicate in a respectful and professional manner.
• You are proficient in computer systems, ideally have experience with RAI LTCF and possess excellent knowledge of German, both spoken and written.
