The ZLM is among the leading medical laboratories in Switzerland. The Special Diagnostics Metabolism Rare Disease area is part of the Schweizerische Referenzzentrum für Stoffwechselkrankheiten and features state-of-the-art infrastructure. The analysis performed primarily comprises self-developed methods for the determination of endogenous metabolites such as, e.g., organic acids, amino acids or acylcarnitines. The area is active in research and also manages its own cell culture. What awaits you <br /> • Independent execution, evaluation and documentation of analyses • Processing of various human materials (blood, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, etc.) • Creation and maintenance of Q-documentation according to accreditation requirements • Further development of the area in cooperation with specialists (evaluation, validation and introduction of new analytical methods and devices) <br /> What you bring with you <br /> • Completed training as BMA HF, Chemielaborant:in or comparable training • Experience in handling chromatography (HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS, IC) • Basic technical understanding and good IT user skills • Initiative, resilience, sense of responsibility • Flexibility as well as teamwork and communication skills • Readiness to perform weekend on-call duty on a rotational basis • Good German skills required, English comprehension an advantage <br /> Our offer <br /> • Working in a motivated and interdisciplinary team • Varied field of work in a future-oriented laboratory • Attractive employment conditions <br /> Questions about the position?
