In this versatile role, you will take responsibility for development, investment, and sustainability projects and make an important contribution to the further development of modern production processes. Tasks: Management and participation in development projects for new product generations in the area of bricks and roof tiles, from raw material to market maturity; Planning, coordination, and implementation of investment projects for production plants and infrastructure, for example robotics, handling systems, ovens, or dryers; Development and realization of energy and sustainability projects, including in the areas of photovoltaics, heat recovery, heat exchangers, renewable energies, CO2 roadmap, CO2 monitoring, and environmental management; Analysis and optimization of existing manufacturing processes with a focus on quality, productivity, and efficiency; Collaboration with internal specialist departments as well as coordination of external service providers, plant manufacturers, and project partners. Qualification: Completed studies as a Mechanical Engineer FH/ETH, Energy Technology Engineer, or a comparable technical training; Experience in project management, ideally in industrial plant engineering or in the building materials industry; Good understanding of thermal process engineering as well as topics related to energy efficiency and sustainable production; Structured, solution-oriented, and independent way of working; High quality awareness, assertiveness, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration; Business fluent German skills; French skills are an advantage; Further language skills are a plus, especially for collaboration with international plant manufacturers.
