Teacher Swimming - Separative Special Education (a) # 10% - 20% | Hohenrain | from 01.08.2026, limited until 31.07.2027 ## At the Heilpädagogische Zentrum Hohenrain, we accompany children and young people with cognitive and/or language impairments from kindergarten to school leaving age on their individual development path. For our swimming lessons in cycle 1 and 2, we are looking for a committed person who, every Wednesday morning, accompanies children in and around the water with specialist knowledge, joy, and empathy during three lessons. Your tasks • You plan and design a curriculum-oriented swimming lesson for children with cognitive and/or physical disabilities, which puts the individual abilities of each child at the center. • Every Wednesday morning, you teach three groups with 8-10 students each and are supported by the respective class teacher and/or class assistant. • You accompany the children when entering the water, when acquiring basic swimming skills, and when promoting their movement coordination. • You ensure a safe environment in and around the water at all times. Your profile • You have a recognized training as a sports/swimming teacher or a comparable qualification (e.g. Swiss Swimming Kids-Coach, School Swimming Teacher). • In addition, you have a valid Brevet Basis Pool or Brevet Plus Pool as well as a CPR or BLS-AED certificate. • You approach children with cognitive and/or physical disabilities with patience. • You perceive different learning prerequisites attentively and adapt your methodical approach flexibly, creatively, and individually.
